CARS!
So like his cousin Paxton, Carter loves Cars! So much in fact, that the other day we were looking in walmart (which is getting rid of their fabric dept. so all fabric is 50% off- check it out!) and I was looking for fabric for a project and Carter saw cars fabric and grabbed it up off the shelf and wouldn't let it go, so I had to grab some and make him a blanket, it isn't done yet and he already loves it!

Having Fun With My Birthday Present!
So I got my kitchen aid last week and since then I have felt inspired to try new recipes and explore my cooking abilities... This cake here is a triple layer chocolate cherry black forest cake... Curtis is thoroughly enjoying my new found inspiration, you see I enjoy cooking and creating yummy things but I never eat them...but Curtis eats them and tells me how yummy they are, it works great that I love cooking and Curtis loves eating! If anyone is interested I can post the recipe...

My Newest Project
When I was in Arizona my grandmother took me to IKEA (which is a great store by the way) and we saw these planters that were painted with chalkboard paint and then what was planted was written on the planter... I thought it was so neat that I decided to save some money and do it myself... cute and fun project!

Mother's Day
Mother's day was so wonderful! I woke up and found beautiful cards and the most gorgeous pearl bracelet with an inscription that reads, World's greatest mom and on the back of the charm it reads love carter.... It is beautiful! I am so thankful for my family, my two wonderful boys... Carter makes it so easy to be a good mom, he is everything and more that a mother could ever ask for in a son and then some... and Curtis supports me with every ounce of himself, he is a great husband and an even better father. I am very blessed! Happy Mother's Day everyone!
