My friend asked if I could help her with an elmo cake for her daughter's birthday, I of course said yes, any chance I get to take on a project...So I looked around on the internet and found a cake that was a present with elmo popping out, we changed it up and made it our own. It turned out SOOOOOOOOOOO cute. We used rice crispies to sculpt elmo and fondant for everything else. I am so proud and so excited for her daughter to see her cake...

My first softball game!
Well tonight was my first softball game and it was SOO much fun! I played 1st base and did pretty good, I got 3 outs, not too bad and batted twice, the first time I was terrible or as Curtis was shouting was swinging at dirt, but in my defense the pitcher was pitching really low.. 8-) But my second time, I did great and scored a run... Even though we lost misserably, it was a lot of fun!

Carter on the plane ride back to Missouri
Carter is such a good flyer, he is even better than me! Half way through the flight Carter fell asleep, his head was snuggled with the pooh bear that nanny bought for him and his feet were draped accross me! He did so great and was soooo happy to see daddy when we landed.

Our dearest friends Skip and Ken
Skip and Ken came into our lives about 7 years ago. They are the most kind, caring, generous and good hearted people you could ever be blessed to know. Whenever we make it to Arizona we always try to see them, we were thankful to meet up with them for dinner, we love you guys and appreciate you both so very much! Now you have to come up to Missouri!
