At 10:35am 2 years ago today we were blessed with the sweetest child all 9 pounds and 21.5 inches of him, Carter Murr Skousen. Curtis and I could not ask for a better son, he fills our life with so much joy and happiness. Everyday he finds new ways to make us laugh. He has the sweetest personality and is such a kind and gentle child. He is so beautiful, he copys everything daddy does and gives me love like there is no tomorrow. I can't believe my little man is already two years old! He is growing up too fast! Even though I miss all the fun stuff as a baby, we are enjoying watching our little boy grow to be an incredible little man. Happy Birthday my love

Carter's party turned out great, we had about 10 kids that came and about 7 adults... Carter had a blast and we all slept VERY well after!

Carter was so precious when we brought his cake out to him. He was so excited when everyone started singing Happy Birthday to him, he got that I'm trying not to smile, but can't help it face, too cute! It was so sweet, I told Curtis and Maree that I would know that my cake was a success if when Carter saw his cake that he said, vrooom, and when that sweet boy saw his cake he got a huge smile and said VROOOM!! SUCCESS! He was so cute when he was blowing out his candles! So cute!
Carter's Birthday Cake
For Carter's birthday party, I decided to be crazy and try and make him a car cake with fondant and everything, I even made it all from scratch! It turned out so much cuter than I thought it would! Here are some pictures from start to finish!
