Date Night
We were able to go out on a date night while nannie was here. One night after Carter had fallen asleep she insisted that we get out and go see a movie or something (she didn't have to insist too much, we were excited to get out!) We went and saw Avatar, it was pretty good and the glasses are because we saw it in 3D. It was a great night, thanks for letting us get out Nannie!
Our visit to the Meramec Caverns
We took Nannie to the Meramec Caverns which were gorgeous! This was our second time going to the cavern and still just as exciting as the first time. This cavern has some of the largest formations in the World. We think Nannie liked it and Carter always loves running through there and jumping in puddles!

Carter Murr Skousen
At 10:35am 2 years ago today we were blessed with the sweetest child all 9 pounds and 21.5 inches of him, Carter Murr Skousen. Curtis and I could not ask for a better son, he fills our life with so much joy and happiness. Everyday he finds new ways to make us laugh. He has the sweetest personality and is such a kind and gentle child. He is so beautiful, he copys everything daddy does and gives me love like there is no tomorrow. I can't believe my little man is already two years old! He is growing up too fast! Even though I miss all the fun stuff as a baby, we are enjoying watching our little boy grow to be an incredible little man. Happy Birthday my love

Carter's party turned out great, we had about 10 kids that came and about 7 adults... Carter had a blast and we all slept VERY well after!
