My Paintings
So while my mother-in-law was here she got me into her hobby, painting... I tried painting for the first time about 2 years ago and they turned out alright, Maree took me to the store and showed me some of the materials she uses and good paintbrushes etc. And over two weeks, we painted quite often, here are some of the paintings that I did. I think they turned out pretty good!

Happy Valentine's Day
This year for valentine's day Curtis and I went to a valentine's day dance at church, which was actually a lot of fun! Curtis got me a gift card to go and get my hair done. I got him some Camoflauge hunting gear and we got Carter a little tent, everytime we take him to the army surplus store, he doesn't want to leave the tents, it's pretty cute and if you are wondering yes, that is Curtis wiggling his way through the tube and into the tent. Those boys are too cute!

Carter's New Bed
Once Carter turned two we introduced him into his new "big boy" bed. The first two nights he rolled out onto pillows that we put on the ground. He is so great, he waits for us to get him in the morning and he has been in his bed for about 3 weeks now. He is just getting so big!

My favorite sayings throughout the History Museum.
We did so many things right many years ago, things that just shouldn't have changed, I LOVE the saying "Use it up, wear it out, make it due!" Victory garden... Curtis and I have been feeling VERY strongly about food storage and emergency preparedness lately and when I saw these signs, they just fit into what we were thinking so much about... I hope you enjoy them too!

My favorite part of the museum
Ok, so it is no secret that I love to cook and bake, so when I saw this portion of the museum, I just loved it. I often say to Curtis how much I wish that certain things were how they used to be in the old days. Such as standards, dress and the character of so many things like cars and even this kitchen. My mother-in-law had a flashback when she saw the exhibit... I just loved it!
