Our BIG News!

I wanted to wait to let Carter be the one to tell everyone that he is going to be a big brother! We are very excited! I am 17 weeks pregnant and due May 20th. This pregnancy has been so different than my first.. We find out in 2 weeks what we are having and your guess is as good as ours, we are very thrown off with this one, I am carring higher, I have been sick it has been the complete opposite than it was with Carter, we will see. Make sure you vote on the sex of baby, we can't wait to find out!

 

 

 

My sisters' visit!

 

Ashley came up this past weekend and we had such a great time. We had a girls day and I taught her how to "Tasha shop". We went to a concert, I made a few of her favorite meals and did a lot of relaxing. It was great, thanks for coming up Ashley I had a great time!

Judds Concert

My sister Ashley flew up this past weekend to go to our dream concert, the Judds. It was the most incredible concert ever!!! We grew up listening to Wynnona and have so many memories that seem to encompass the Judds' music. I enjoyed my sisters' visit and am thankful that I was able to share that experience with her!

We're Back!!!

Hello friends and family! You can call off the search parties, we are back! Things have been so cazy lately, we have had so many wonderful blessings over the last couple months! Goin' Pro

I have been playing in a softball league with some friends from church (which by the way has been a blast!) and Carter has been coming to the early games, we also go to the batting cages and practice quite often. Well over the past couple months Carter has fallen in love with baseball. Now all he wants to do is play. I love it, he has a natural raw talent, much like his mom I must say...lol... So soon enough I think he will be goin' pro, world watch out for Carter Skousen!

Baby Shower Gifts

I recently went to a baby shower and made this adorable coordinating baby necessities packet! Wipee case, wipee case and diaper holder, burp cloths, hooter hider and changing pad. They turned out so cute!

 

 

 

 

Gone Fishin'

The other day we went fishing and it was so much fun! I actually REALLY enjoy fishing, maybe not so much in 101 degree weather and 70% humidity, but it is still a lot of fun. Carter was catching more than Curtis and myself with his little rocks that he was throwing in the water. Curtis had a paradigm shift and said that he appreciates his father even more for taking him and his siblings fishing because Curtis experienced "dad" fishing, ya know where you are baiting for everyone else and you don't really get to enjoy it yourself, ya "dad" fishing. Our next date night we plan on getting a boat, rowing to the middle of the lake and he is going to teach me how to bait and tie off my own line and all that good stuff. That is one of the many things that we love about Missouri, there are so many outdoorsy things to do! After fishin we went scouting for deer and we saw well over 50! Carter was even getting in on it and yelling out when he saw one! It was a good day!
