It Was Time
Tonight cries filled the air as Carter received his first hair cut... Now as you are thinking that I am just a terrible mom, know that those cries were not from Carter but from Curtis..8-).. I finally talked him into letting me cut carter's little ponytail curl thing... even though it was terribly cute, I couldn't tame it anymore.. and after the hair cut which Carter took very well was over, I asked, " Now that wasn't so bad was it?" a sweet little voice responded, "no." a sweet little voice from my hubby... But, it was time

Like father like son
I was looking through some pictures and found this one of Curtis when he was about Carter's age... Now I know that everyone says Carter looks like me, but I had to post the two pics of them, because Carter really does look a lot like his daddy!
Superbowl Party!
Here are the pictures from our superbowl get together... It was great we had the Snyders, the dazleys, the hughes and Kevin croft over to watch the superbowl... we enjoyed everyone's company! The game was very intense, but in the end the steelers took it... Next season Arizona!

A touch of spring..
Over the past few weeks, it has seemed to do nothing but snow over here and even though I love it and think it is fun.. Carter and I are ready to get outside and go play at the park... So until then I will enjoy my touch of spring with my oh so pretty girly blog... sorry Curtis!

Home sweet home
Ok, it is official..We are finally moved in... I just unpacked the last box yesterday!! We would like to thank everyone from church who so graciously gave their time to help us move in... You are so wonderful and we love you all!

Happy 1st Birthday Carter!
Happy Birthday to the greatest little blessing... Carter turned one year old today.. and I couldn't help but think back to the past year and how much Curtis' and my life has changed! One year ago today, I gave birth to the most beautiful son after 72 hours of labor! I remember the first time I held him, I felt such an incredible responsibility to be the greatest mother that I possibly could... and throughout this past year, he has taught me so many things, I have found strength and depth that I never knew I had... and even though I am sad that my sweet little baby is no longer a baby, I look forward to the many more years of joy and happiness that Carter will enrich Curtis' and my life with. So Happy Birthday my sweet little man Carter!
