Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween everyone! Today before we took Carter trick or treating, we took him to the St. Louis Zoo. It is such a fantastic zoo and Curtis had not been there yet. Unfortunately we had to cut it short because it was FREEZING! Yikes, it is getting so cold, very quick! It was a great day!

Introducing The Potty

We have officially introduced Carter to the potty, he isn't quite ready but we are almost there! He has started coming to me and telling me when he has gone to the bathroom, so we felt it was the perfect time to take the next step to potty training Carter, one step at a time. Anyone out there, I would love advise on how you knew your child was ready to be potty trained and any tips you have would be great too!

Erichmet Planning commitee

So in our new ward, I was aked to be a part of the enrichment planning commitee with some pretty incredible women. Our enrichment is going to be the theme of "The Hundred Dresses" so everyone came over to my home on Friday and we made the invitations. I also made the centerpieces, I had to get creative because there were no good ideas online, but I think they turned out great. Our goal of the night is to collect 100 dresses and donate them to a women's shelter. I love Relief Society!

Next Week

Next week we are going to Chicago to stay with Curtis, while he has training. Since we are going up there we are going to see the imagination movers concert. Carter LOVES the imagination movers, and I like the music they play. So I am so excited to see the expression on his face when he sees them in person! Don't worry, I will take lots of pictures! Tonight we went to the Trunk or Treat that our ward held, it was so much fun! Carter held his little bucket and was going up to people and holding it out! So cute! Then he would yell "Bye!" real loud and it was off to the next car... It was so fun to see him get into trick or treating this year! He was a dragon, I was a pricess and Curtis was the knight, those pictures will soon follow too! Happy Halloween everyone!

The St. Louis Zoo!

Today a couple friends and I took our children to the St. Louis Zoo! Which by the way was the most incredible zoo I have ever been to! The weather was so great! We got lucky, in the last week it has been hot, so cold that it snowed and raining! Carter loved running around with his friends from church and seeing all the animals and I loved getting out and having some wonderful adult conversation! It was a great day!
