5th Anniversary

 

 

 

 

Things have been so busy around here that I am just barely getting around to updating everyone with what has been going on... As of July 9th Curtis and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary! It has gone by so fast... We have accomplished some incredible things together and we have grown so much. We have moved from Arizona to California, California to New York and now from New York to Missouri. We brought my sister into our home and through many challenges she emerged to be a responsible, intellegent and level headed woman and we couldn't be more proud of her. And 18 months ago we had our beautiful son Carter who is such an incredible young man. All this and more in just 5 short years. I have such respect for my husband, I think he is a great man, a wonderful husband and an even better father. We have definitely lived these past 5 years of marriage with no regrets. I can't wait to see what the next 50 hold in store for us! (Sorry you guys, you know I am gushy!)

New Yorkers, No More

 

Well everyone, As I announced in our previous post we are moving to Missouri, since then we have rented our house and begun travel arrangements for.... are you ready... August 5th!!! Can you believe it! As of August 5th we will be Nnew Yorks, no more! We are excited and yet sad to be leaving a place we have called home and that has felt like home more than anywhere else. We will keep you updated as things progress.

BIG NEWS!!!

Well everyone the Skousens have BIG news! After two years in New York we have decided to start a new adventure in Missouri!! Moving to New York was an essential step in Curtis' career and to our spiritual and personal growth. We have been so blessed these past two years, we had our beautiful son Carter and we have made some of the most incredible friends, that we will definitely stay in contact with! We will have a more solid date soon, but it is looking like we will be moving in late August or early September. For our friends here in New York, we love you all and will miss you dearly, thank you for the blessing you have been to us.

It's Finished!

Well, here is his new comforter and pillow case... I think it turned out so cute! It is my first "real" blanket and I am quite proud! Carter LOVES it, he actually likes to play in his crib now... he points to lightning and makes a "vvrooom" noise. It is so cute!
